About me…

Hi, I’m Will, and welcome to a new type of consultancy - one that is focussed on helping professionals and executives achieve their full potential through bespoke coaching.

For the last 20 years, I have worked as a dispute resolution, reputation management lawyer, representing high-profile clients and worked in a wide range of firms, from boutique, to large City practices. My time in the legal profession has given me first hand insight into the immense pressures that professionals face, both in managing their own expectations and those of their firms in very demanding environments. I understand the challenges of balancing time between billing, business development, and the constant pressure not just to meet but to exceed targets.

Having led teams, I also recognize the unique pressures that come with leadership roles; it is not uncommon to experience anxiety and imposter syndrome when taking on such responsibilities.

Before I was a lawyer, I worked for an electronics company in Hong Kong, and I recognise the unique pressures on executives of trying to grow a startup in a dynamic and challenging commercial world.

I understand the support and clarity that professionals and executives can require but rarely seek or find. 

I work with, and support clients, using the strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities I have acquired over the years through handling complex, high-profile conflicts. I also share techniques in managing pressure, and thinking strategically, that I have adopted as a litigation lawyer. 

I also provide support in the increasingly important, but often overlooked, areas of emotional intelligence and presentation - which I believe are key when seeking to best connect with clients and colleagues. 

I believe those skills uniquely equip me to guide other professionals and executives in overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals. 

As a member of the UK Parliament’s All Party Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence and certified in AI and Leadership by Babson College, Massachusetts, USA, I understand the support that professionals, executives and their organisations will require during this period of innovative change. As an external advisor to the award-winning Projectis Blockchain Technologies, I understand the rapid pace of technological transformation. I also understand the importance of effective communications: my work was shortlisted for the Citywealth Brand Management and Reputation Awards in the 'Corporate Thought Leadership’ category.

To date, I have successfully coached professionals and executives across a variety of industry sectors and I hold a certification in executive coaching from the University of Cambridge.
